Responsible Gaming
This page explains how we support safer gambling at Mr Vegas Casino: the controls built into your account, how to switch them on, the signs that gambling may be causing harm, and the organisations that can help. It also sets out how we keep under-18s away from our games.

Our commitment to safer gambling
Gambling is a form of entertainment, not a way to make money and not a way to solve money problems. Most people who play with us do so for fun, within their means, and stop when they planned to. We want it to stay that way, so safer gambling controls are built into every account and we ask you to use them from the day you register.
Before you play, decide how much you are willing to lose and how long you want to spend. Treat that amount in the same way as the cost of an evening out: once it is gone, the session is over. Never play with money set aside for rent, bills, food or debts, and never try to win back losses by increasing your stakes.
- Set a budget before you play, not in the middle of a losing session.
- Keep your stake size in proportion to the budget you have set.
- Take regular breaks and avoid long, unbroken sessions.
- Do not play when you are upset, under pressure or have been drinking.
- Keep gambling as one of several things you enjoy, not the main one.
The tools in your account
Every account includes a set of safer gambling controls. You can switch them on at any time, keep them in place for as long as you wish, and tighten them whenever you want. They work across your account, so a limit applies whichever games you play and whichever device you use.
| Tool | What it does | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Caps what you can pay in over a set period | Across your whole account |
| Loss limit | Caps how much you can lose over a set period | Across your whole account |
| Session limit | Ends play once you reach the time you chose | Each time you sign in |
| Reality check | Shows a reminder of time played and your current position | At the interval you choose |
| Time-out | Closes your account to play for a short, fixed period | Until the period ends |
| Self-exclusion | Closes your account to play for a longer, fixed period | Until the period ends and you ask to return |
Deposit, loss and session limits
A deposit limit is the simplest way to keep spending predictable: you choose a daily, weekly or monthly ceiling and we will not accept deposits above it. A loss limit works on your net position rather than your payments, and a session limit caps the time you spend in a single sitting. You can run all three together, and the choices shown in your account take effect as soon as they are saved.
Reality checks and time-outs
A reality check interrupts play at the interval you pick and tells you how long you have been playing and how you stand. It is a prompt to decide whether to carry on. If you would rather step away altogether, a time-out closes your account to play for a short fixed period. During a time-out you cannot deposit or stake, and any balance remains yours; your account reopens automatically when the period ends.
Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion is for anyone who wants a longer and firmer break. Choose the period offered in your account, and we will close your account to play for at least that length of time, remove you from our marketing and decline attempts to open a new account with us. Self-exclusion cannot be lifted early, and once the period ends your account stays closed until you contact us and a cooling-off period has passed. If you are self-excluding, we recommend you do the same with every operator you use.
How to switch a tool on
- Sign in and open the safer gambling or responsible gaming area of your account.
- Choose the tool you want and the period it should cover.
- Confirm your choice and save it.
- Contact our live chat or e-mail support@casinomrvegas.co.uk if you need help applying or changing a control.
Signs that gambling may be causing harm
Gambling-related harm often builds slowly. Going through the list below honestly is a useful first step, whether you are thinking about your own play or someone else's.
- You spend more money or more time than you intended, often or always.
- You play to win back what you have lost.
- You borrow money, sell belongings or use bills money to keep playing.
- You hide how much you play, or lie about it to people close to you.
- Gambling is affecting your work, studies, sleep or relationships.
- You feel anxious, irritable or low when you are not playing.
- You have tried to cut down or stop and could not.
- You gamble to escape stress, loneliness or low mood.
If several of these sound familiar, set a limit or take a time-out now, and talk to one of the organisations below. Support is free, confidential and available whether or not you decide to stop.
Where to get help
The organisations below are independent of us and offer free, confidential help across Great Britain.
- GambleAware provides information and advice on gambling harm and can point you towards free treatment and support in your area.
- GamCare runs confidential counselling, group support and moderated forums for people affected by gambling, including friends and family.
- GamStop is the free national self-exclusion scheme: one registration blocks you from gambling sites licensed in Great Britain for the period you choose.
- The National Gambling Helpline offers confidential advice by phone and live chat, at any hour, for anyone worried about their own or someone else's gambling.
It can also help to speak to your GP, to a free debt advice service, and to your bank, as most UK banks can block gambling payments from your account.
Protecting people under 18
Gambling with us is strictly for adults. We verify the identity, age and address of every customer before play continues, and we may ask for documents at any point. Where age cannot be confirmed, the account is suspended and then closed. Allowing anyone under 18 to use your account is a breach of our terms and will result in closure and the forfeit of winnings.
If you share a computer, tablet or phone with children, please take simple precautions. Keep your log-in details private, never save your password or payment details on a shared device, and sign out fully when you finish playing.
- Install filtering or parental control software that blocks gambling sites on every shared device.
- Use the family settings built into your browser, operating system and app stores.
- Set up separate, password-protected user profiles for children.
- Keep bank cards and e-wallet details out of reach and out of saved payment lists.
