Cookies Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, the kinds we set when you use Mr Vegas Casino, and what each kind is for. It also sets out how to change your choices at any time and what may stop working if you block them.

What cookies are and why we use them
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your computer, tablet or phone. When you return, your browser sends that file back, which allows our pages to remember what happened during your last visit. Similar technologies, such as pixels, tags and local storage, work in much the same way, and in this policy we use the word cookies to cover all of them.
We use cookies for a small number of practical reasons. They keep you signed in as you move between the lobby, the cashier and your account pages. They remember settings such as your preferred language and whether you have already answered the cookie notice. They help us see which pages load slowly, which ones return errors and where players abandon a task part-way through, so that we can put it right. Some cookies also support our security and fraud checks, and help us notice unusual activity on an account.
Cookies that are not strictly necessary are only set after you have given us permission in the cookie notice on the site, and you can change that permission whenever you like. Where a cookie is used to process personal data, our Privacy Policy explains the legal basis we rely on and the rights you have.
The types of cookies we use
We group the cookies on our site into four categories. The cookie notice uses the same four names, so you can match what you see there to the descriptions below.
Strictly necessary cookies
These make the site work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are used to keep your session open once you have signed in, to carry your basket of details safely between the cashier and the payment step, to balance traffic across our servers, and to protect accounts against fraudulent or automated access. They also record the choices you make in the cookie notice itself, so that we do not ask you again on every page.
Performance and analytics cookies
These tell us how the site is being used, in aggregate rather than by name. Typical purposes are counting visits to a page, measuring how long a page takes to load on different devices, and showing us the point at which players stop part-way through registration or a deposit. We use what we learn to fix errors and simplify slow journeys. If you turn this category off, we will still fix faults, but we will have less information about where they happen.
Functionality cookies
These remember the preferences you have set so that the site behaves the way you expect. Examples include keeping your chosen language and display settings between visits, remembering which games you have added to a favourites list, and holding the state of the live chat window so that a conversation with our support team is not lost when you move to another page.
Marketing cookies
These are used to measure how our advertising performs and to limit how often you are shown the same message. They may record that you arrived from a particular campaign, or that you have already seen a promotion, so that it is not repeated. They may be set by advertising partners acting for us, and in that case those partners are bound by contract to use the data only for the purposes we have agreed. We do not sell data collected through these cookies.
How to manage cookies on the site and in your browser
You have two ways to control cookies: the notice we show on the site, and the settings in your own browser.
- In the cookie notice. When you first arrive, you can accept all cookies, reject everything that is not strictly necessary, or open the settings panel and choose category by category.
- Changing your mind later. The cookie settings link stays available in the footer of every page. Open it, change the categories you want and save; the new choice applies straight away.
- In your browser. Browser settings let you block cookies, delete those already stored, or ask to be warned before a new one is set. The steps differ between browsers and devices, and the help pages built into your browser explain where the option sits.
- On a shared device. If other people use the same computer or phone, clear the stored cookies and sign out of your account when you finish, so that your session cannot be picked up by someone else.
Cookie choices are stored per browser and per device. If you use our site on a phone and a laptop, or in more than one browser, you will need to set your preferences in each of them. Clearing your browsing data will also clear the record of your choice, so the notice will appear again on your next visit.
What happens if you block cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the site to function. If you block all cookies in your browser, parts of the site will not work properly for you.
- You may not be able to sign in, or you may be signed out as soon as you open a new page.
- The cashier may be unable to complete a deposit or a withdrawal request.
- Games may fail to load, or may not save your progress and settings.
- Live chat may close before our support team has answered you.
- The cookie notice may reappear on every visit, because there is nowhere to record your answer.
Turning off the other categories has a smaller effect. Without functionality cookies you will need to set your preferences again each time; without performance and analytics cookies we have less information to help us fix faults; without marketing cookies you will still see advertising, but it will be less relevant and may be repeated more often.
Changes to this policy and how to reach us
We update this policy when the cookies we use change, when the way we describe them needs to be clearer, or when the law or the conditions of our gaming licence require it. The date shown at the top of the page tells you when it was last changed, and we recommend that you look over it from time to time.
If you have a question about the cookies we set, want to understand what a particular category does, or would like help changing your settings, contact us by e-mail at support@casinomrvegas.co.uk or through the live chat on the site. Our support team is available to help, and we will answer as quickly as we can.
If your question concerns how we handle personal data more widely, including your rights of access, correction and erasure, our Privacy Policy sets out the full position and the address to write to.
